What the Hell is Going on with YT's Home Page

Currently when I go to the page I'm left with a blank screen or service unavailable. However the rest of the site is working and this only started around 7pm EST.

Sometimes to get to the page I have to an enter characters test.

I have tried multiple web browsers and disconnected my VPN.

No home page and no videos on right hand side. The tabs that were already opened to certain vids would work. This is in Canada. People in the UK were reporting same thing.
