Wait an hour? 30 secs is standard. It loses its potency when color is gone which is a reason its sold as a 2 dropper kit.
it takes about 8 hours for it to lose 50% of its potency with the mixture I use (https://www.ebay.com/itm/166914623096) 1 hour is just a precaution I use to makes sure that everything reacts so that it doesn't make your stomach sore. If you lose 5 to 15 percent to avoid a sore stomach I'd say its worth it. You can always use an extra drop of each if you worried about potency.
