I am so pissed off these days with everyone fishing for my personal information.
So I call in to pay a nineteen dollar medical bill. Here's my name and date of birth.
Sir we need more information.
I replied, no you don't. Now are you ready to process my card?
Sir the HIPPA laws require us to make sure it's you.
I asked don't you have my information already populated on your screen?
Yes we do but HIPPA. I replied.
Now you listen to me, to hell with HIPPA. I am the one making the friggin payment.
I am the boss here so are you going to process the card or not! Then click....
Then earlier today. National General Insurance. The same damn thing ensues.
Giving out personal info should require verification, but one would think they'd take money from anyone who wants to give it to them
But they do anyways.
Google, and all add on streaming tv services will listen in on all your info and sell it.
