- Islamic religious law calls for burial of the body as soon as possible.
- The deceased is first bathed and shrouded with simple white cloth.
- Cremation of the body is strictly forbidden in Islam.
- The body is buried without a casket and aligned perpendicular to the Qibla. The head may be turned to face the Qibla as well.
Trump should announce that any jihadis killed in the US while committing an act of terror, there will not be any bathing of your body. Go to your Allah filthy like you lived. Then you'll cremated or buried upside down in a pig carcass when we get around to it.
Except that would be read as President Trump blatantly making a decision based on someone's religion, which is a clear violation of the First Amendment.
And because I know I'll get a barrage of "Islam isn't a religion, it's a political ideology, etc.", I'll point out that the US government has clearly acknowledged it as a religion, so that argument isn't going to work in real life.
Let's not show support of violating other people's First Amendment rights, especially since we value our Second Amendment rights so much.
Kind of difficult to back up that whole "shall not be infringed!" war cry when we show obvious disregard of the other Amendments.
