63 DAY 4: Black smoke signals that the College of Mullahs has not reached a decision on the new Ayatollah today. Maybe tomorrow (Israel bombed and killed all 88 Islamic clerics as they were meeting to select a new leader). I love the smell of cordite in the morning... ME TOO! But: "cordite has not been used in modern ammunition since World War II".
So what is it, we have been smelling in the morning? not napalm, I never smelled that.
Ha, very knowledgeable! Yes, the Brits used cordite lang past WWII but went to black powder when NATO was formed.
so what is it we are smelling, like when fireworks go off?
Whatever the Chinese use, I suppose. Low grade black powder?
Just looked it up: Chinese fireworks traditionally consist of a mixture of potassium nitrate (saltpeter), sulfur, and charcoal (black powder/gunpowder).
fireworks: I love the booming of the earth and the odor and the brilliant colors in the sky
