People want to be deceived. It’s part of human pathology. “Truth will set you free.” People don’t want to be free. More human pathology. Until Christ returns to judge the living and the dead we’re stuck in this world we’ve made for ourselves. And I’m an optimist! lol
Just like some choose to sleep while some of us get up and choose to see. No different there.
In Plato’s cave allegory those convinced the shifting shadows are reality kill the one who tries to tell them they’re deceiving themselves. More human pathology. Be careful of awakening sleepwalkers.
