It's Federal law already. The fact we have to have state level legislation forcing them to comply with that is ridiculous. The fact that we have to have legislation in any state enforcing basic driving laws that are already enacted in all 50 states is even more ridiculous.
i was waiting for a freight train to pass, and noticed what seemed to be an unusual number of UPS trailers on the train...never had noticed that before, and wondered if there is a current shortage of cdl drivers, due to the crackdown...did a search and found out that UPS does this to transport 24/7 without drivers being limited to hours of driving...makes sense but also thinking sudden shortage of drivers being taken off the roads as fraudulent CDL's are discovered...
Needs to happen in Montana too. Far too many at the truck stops here all the time.
