Whoever can fly an entire football field over your airspace right into the center of your capital during the day and pulverise your nation's leader's fortified compound without radar detection calls the shots. Simple as that.

The years of Iran, Russia and China posturing as "superpowers", funding proxy wars to destabilise American allies, while the US attempted restraint and pushed for peaceful talks really fed us the illusion that Americans were in talks from a point of weakness.

The US Military very clearly has no equals on the global stage. These guys have spent close to half of Africa's entire GDP on Defence without a significant deployment in over 20 years, and you have "war experts" saying that the US "is running out of ammunition."

Kenya itself sustained an invasion into Somalia for close to a decade without the economy feeling its strain (they survived a military expedition but could not survive the UhurRuto regimes,).

The US has also been feeding a war at Russia's doorstep with somewhat aging equipment that are surprisingly effective against Russia's top of the range stuff for 4 years now. So much that Russia can no longer be considered an ally of any significance to her friends Venezuela and Iran.

China's potential intervention has further been complicated by the fact that their economy depends on oil that is currently being both produced (Venezuela) and insured (strait of Hormuz) almost exclusively by American military power while Iran tries to bomb ships.

What is the dollar backed by? The B-2 Bomber, turns out.

The B-2 Bomber, btw was introduced more than 20 years ago. $15 Trillion later, you can be certain there are new toys the US would gladly introduce to the global stage if it came to it.

For context, if Khamenei Jr. had the military capacity of, maybe France, they'd wage Islamist idealist campaigns however far the bombs could go.

And if the new world order behaves with so much impunity with such little capacity, there's at least the argument that maybe having the US as the global big brother isn't such a bad idea after all. Because you're at least allowed to chant, "Death to America" as long as you know you cannot simultaneously have nukes with that ideology.

PS: The Islamic regime under Khamenei said it was okay to have sexual relations with 9 year olds, and would occasionally rape female prisoners before execution just to make sure they didn't go to heaven. Yes, I have a very clear favourite in this war and I'm very concerned about anyone who doesn't.
