Only a few correctly anticipated Jesus's first coming correctly. It was couched deeply within the text, so much so, that as Paul states, If Satan himself knew correctly, he wouldn't have let Jesus die on the cross. The second coming, like the first, may be more hidden/couched than we believe..

The irony is so many of the Jews back then were full of such hubris that NOTHING satisfied the picture in their (closed) minds of the way "it had to go down".
The problem is that so many people know so many things that just aren't so, all while refusing to consider things that contradict their current worldview.
