I was on food stamps back in the early 90s when you got a “book” of food stamps”money”. Talk about embarrassing to have to separate your food into can and can’t have piles. I was only allowed meat, bread, vegetables, milk, eggs, “some” soups, produce (fresh), non sugary cereal, rice, pasta and not a lot more. No laundry soap, bath soap, shampoo, toothpaste, ice cream, fruit punch, candy, cough syrup, aspirin and so many other NECESSITIES. Like TOILET PAPER! Then having to give my Monopoly money food stamps and get food stamps back as change! These people on food stamps have no idea how good they have it!!!!
