For the last 15 years, maybe more, students have been taught various responses to a shooter in the classroom. The responses were based on the ages of the students. High school boys—think athletic types - would straight up tell me that they were going to take the shooter out, regardless of what they were instructed to do.
It’s simply known as “ The preservational instinct to survive, no matter the situation!”
Fundamentally: Fight, or die.

Even more good news. Liberal teachers are talking about leaving education. They don’t like the changes that have been implemented and can’t stand the kids. Of course I’m talking about a conservative area :)
It may be a little more than fight or flight, as this PoS was dealt with by ROTC students, who just watched their professor be killed. I forget what rank he was. God rest his soul.
