I'm of the opinion that just normal short selling should be illegal (maybe not for individuals, but at least at a certain volume threshold). These large hedge funds and other financial institutions short sell at such high volumes they guarantee the stock goes down, so they have zero risk, and just extract money without providing any service or product, they are pinnacle leeches.
Correct. I think it should all be illegal. Betting against a company and others bets is crazy. It's history has always gone to where it's at now. Been made illegal several times around the world at different times and they seem to make it legal again.
