Fairfax County, VA has -- FOR MANY, MANY YEARS -- put bond referenda on the November ballots for schools, parks, gov't land, etc., for which I dutifully and civilly marked "Yes" for. And you know what? After about the first decade of living in that shitty county in the 2000s...I learned that NOTHING ever resulted from those bond referenda for which most bluetard sheep (and unwitting, uninformed plebes like myself) ALWAYS voted for.
After about 2012...I started voting NO on every county referendum...not that it made any difference, because the "tax me to death!" sheep that live in FfxCo, VA usually approved them, and again...there was nothing to show for it, EVER.
I finally escaped shithole NoVA late last year...but I'm sure the sheep are still bleating "YES!" and pushing through those county referenda that never produce any actual fruit.
