It feels like a different era, but back in 2018, when Devin Nunes was chairing the Hosue Intel Committee, Kash Patel was his aide. The famous "Nunes Memo" that explained the surveilence abuse by the FBI during the RussiaGate investigation was actually authored by Kash.

If you search twitter, you will find when the left dug up the fact that Kash was the author of the memo, because then they start going after in full force. This was a copy paste tweet that made its rounds that time.
NYT confirming Kash Patel was indeed the primary author.
