"Free Universal Daycare" in NY proposed by Hochul and Mamdani

The program would cost $4.5b, an increase of $1.7b from the city’s current Pre-K for all for 4-year-olds and “3-K” preschool program for 3-year-olds. The new money would shore up those programs and create a new childcare system for 2-year-olds. NYC’s current school budget is $33b.

Even if they DID do this with taxpayer money, how are we going to be sure that it's what the money is spent on. People need to push back on all this crap.
