There is a movie from the 00s with Tom cruise and Cameron Diaz. Ton cruise is some sort of cia /black ops spy / agent whatever. About 3/4 way through the movie we find out that he was actually a military soldier who “died” in battle and gave his life away to be of higher service as a spy. But everyone who ever knew him knew him as deceased. So he was given a new identity and everything. At the end of the movie he tries to leave his spy handlers and him and Cameron Diaz move to the southern tip of South America lol
