Because it is FAKE... The Bible says something about a firmament overhead. As a parent of many, I put my babies in a playpen for their safety and my peace of mind, God did the same for us because he knows we must mature safely. Seperating the waters from the waters...who are the waters? Just my opinion...not an "outerspace" believer.
