I think Trump's timing to take out the DS in Iran was perfect. Towards the end of winter and the heating season, so higher prices have less effect on people try to stay warm. It's also well before the summer driving season, so much less impact and lower prices than if this operation had begun 2 months later and with some time to recover if supplies get tight.
