It was difficult to go back there to visit my parents, but since they passed way a few years ago I no longer have any connection to the town (I now live in Idaho). I forgot to mention earlier that the town’s demise started when they allowed a low income subsidized apartment development to be built, back in the early 70s.
I went to kindergarten at that school 60 years ago when Woodbine was a nice place. It’s been a sad, depressed, and depressing place for decades.
