Where I lurk on the left, they are cheering the recovery of the downed aviators, AFTER they gleefully cheered the plane being shot down! B/C they have to believe Iran is winning, right? The rescue should have never been necessary because we shouldn't be there.

We should have been in Iran eliminating mullahs and islamist ideology decades ago... Hostages (and their families) from Iran's US Embassy disagree with you. Dead US soldiers (and their families) from the Marine barracks BOMBING in Lebanon disagree with you. Dead and maimed US soldiers (and their families)in Iraq and Afghanistan from roadside IED BOMBS disagree with you. Millions of Americans seeing these things and watching burnt American flags and hearing chants of 'death to America' for 47 YEARS DISAGREE WITH YOUR OPINION.
