Something needs to be done about our medical insurance. I am an 85-year-old widow. My Social Security went up about $70/mo. this year. Sounds good? Well, Medicare increased $20/mo. and my supplement insurance went up $95 mo. (total $115). So, I have a $45 deficit and nothing to help with the other cost-of-living increases (groceries, gas, etc). I am very fortunate, though, to have wonderful children helping me out, bless them. Otherwise, I would be a bag lady living on the streets. I am not the only one on Social Security that is going through this. There are many, many, many that are a lot worse off than I am and it heartbreaking what they have to go through. I just keep praying that President Trump and RFK, Jr. will help us.
