As soon as you title and register a vehicle with the state..THEY own it. And charge you rent for it. Not just because of some patents.
True. In NC, we pay property tax yearly on our vehicles. We have a trailer that was purchased in Ohio 20 years ago for $500. NC appraises the current value of the trailer as $1200. Fortunately, the tax is about $5, or we'd make an effort to challenge.
These taxes always start low, then before you know it, we are all paying dozens of different taxes for using items we own.
It’s theft. It’s abuse of “authority”. It’s soft communism.
We need to cull the public service. Thousands must be fired, their pensions revoked. This is the parasitic bloat and corruption that is destroying every civilised Western country.
