He should never again appear where demons want to destroyed him, and DEFINITELY not the planned Correspondence Dinner. He could do it live from the WhiteHouse. But, knows he's at the end of his life, and is willing to sacrifice his life, for LOVE of God's Greatest Nation, and the courage to deliver what he believes will be an "earth- shattering" message to the world.
