And they treat you like $hit in the process. I lived in Germany for a few years and just about every German, oh your American you make allot of money there. You Americans are rich. Charge you more because your not from there. If you rented off of American housing, they know what rank you are, what your BH is and charge you accordingly. Friends from there rent and it was super cheap for them. Same at bars/restaurant, anything of entertainment sort, If they know your American price went up 25%/50% In Paris we were charged 12 Euro x4 for large cokes, whatever you do Don't say Large to anything.... https://greatawakening.win/p/1ASZHdPkoS/the-united-states-of-america-wil/c/
Wait up. I live in France half the year. You must've pissed someone off, because my very American ass has never had this happen once, and I'm in Paris 5-6 times/ year.
It only happen that one time, I don't see how we pissed them off, we had the kids with us. Hiked from the Eiffel Tower to Hard rock with a 5 year old and a 10 year old. Hubby said oh its short BS and in-between those to we stopped at a bar/restaurant. We were outside and we ordered 4 cokes. The waiter said large we said yes, and they charged us over 40 euro. No food, This was in 2004 so Its not like we could have given a bad review. I've been back to Paris 3x now and that was the only issue I had with France...
