This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.

Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)

The frens who mocked the thing (whatever it is) being labeled as "Hantavirus" should consider reconsidering.
It doesn't matter if it's a virus or fairy dust from China or the invisible angel of death… Whatever "it" is is the subject at hand.
I've been talking about this event for almost 2 years here, and now it seems to be arriving.
So to repeat it for the kekousandth time:
• It WILL be scary... (Q: "[Scare] necessary event")
• The deaths WILL be real, many.
• It will NOT be contagious, though it will appear to be.
This isn't a prediction, it's an invitation to the intelligent and rational among you to pray and prepare... mentally and otherwise.
Will it be "Hantavirus" or something else?
They need something.

Titor Said, and this aligns with Revelation, that a large percentage of the world's population would be gone, either from a plague or a nuke war.
His timeline got the nuke war, but he clearly insinuated ours would get the plague.
The fairy dust may be real. Scare event may be necessary. But large percentage of the world's populate would not be "gone".

They are not my words and I'm not saying that's what I think will happen.
But… We are at the end of an Age.
Put your faith and trust in the Most High, the decider of all fates and destinies.
And if you find yourself distraught at the idea of such an enormous decline in the population, look up quantum immortality.
What if everyone has their own timeline, and from any one specific individual's perspective, they always live?
It's a lot like the trope "the cameraman always lives."
Everyone's God's cameraman. Some cameramen, whose eyes God is looking through, lose sight of other cameraman, who appear to "die" from their perspective only.
But from each individual "God's cameraman" perspective, you always live.
