Dude.... Besides the facts that data centers are being built the author only offers unproven assertions and opinions.
Boiling down the fact that the US is building data centers and VERY loosely saying it's for digital currency and social credit scores is a WILD assertion.
It's also quite stupid. A private blockchain like a centralized digital currency would need LESS computing power than the decentralized public blockchains we have now. It's not using distributed ledger technology because it's centralized.
There are DOZENS of use cases for this computing power that come to mind way before the idea of a centralized digital currency that make way more sense.
At the end of the day AI is an arms race. It's not good at just a few things, it's good at almost everything. The country that leads the world in AI technology and processing power will essentially lead the world period.
You kinda sound like a scribe arguing against the advent and use of the printing press right now.
When the internet came out and online shopping started being a thing were you afraid to use it for a while? Did you say negative things? How did that pan out?

More like a student of history and the impact of innovation on power, trade, and warfare.
Paradigm shifts always have people left in the dust. You've seen several in your lifetime and yet...
" Paradigm shifts always have people left in the dust. "
...the only thing history teaches us...
...is that it doesn't....

I'm mainly concerned with Scott Bessent.
Why would trump appoint a Soros protege to Treasury Secretary?
