The Strait of Hormuz will become irrelevant when the Al Faw Port becomes operational in a few months. Oil will be transported by rail to Turkey, Europe and the East. The port will cut 11 days off transport time from shipping through the Suez Canal. Iraq will become the next super power of the Middle East---thanks to the US taxpayer I am sure.
