I always thought the instant Berkshire Hathaway play would be because of MOASS. They already have 9billion on hand. If they sell into a real MOASS then they would be able to buy up many more companies because the shorts would have to liquidate their longs to cover their shorts. Thus driving GME to the moon and tanking the longs.
Buffet still has the largest cash position held in history waiting for the bubble to pop. Dr Burry said that this bubble is bigger than DOT COM and housing bubble together.
That means some companies will be able to buy much larger ones cheaply.
I hope this is what ultimately transformative for the capital markets means. That's what RC said about his play and I don't think eBay fits that line very well unless I'm regarded.
