It was a political stunt, of course, but the symbolism got me: As if the supposed (doubt) protestors needed feeding, or something. It was culturally, a bad look. And I recoiled at her demonic face.
I forget the lady's name from the state department. She admitted we had them years ago in Ukraine. Yet it was just swept under the rug.
That would be Victoria Nuland. The Cookie-lady.
