in Belgium they are relegating nursing home residents to less than 4 oz of meat per week!
While Belgium is encouraging a shift towards less red meat, nursing home residents are not limited to 4 oz of meat per day, and they are served other protein sources to meet their nutritional needs.
The 4 oz (or similar) restriction claims appear to be confused with recent, separate, and highly controversial proposals in Copenhagen, Denmark, where politicians proposed limiting nursing home residents to 80 grams (2.8 oz) of beef, lamb, or veal per week.
Ah, sorry. Mixed up Belgium with Denmark.
