My thoughts exactly. I grew up in the Lower Rio Grande Valkey in Texas. News always had drug busts and trafficking busts, sometimes it was straight up, but far too often it was somebody on the inside helping the bad guys. Like you, i m compelled to hope the best, but nothing surprises me anymore.
I knew some guys from Mexico on a construction crew and they told me they came across in a regular van, a bunch of them, I asked how they hid...he said they didn't, they paid the American border patrol then rolled on..!! I was pissed, still am that was 1995
