While I like this, to me it is a "DUH" win. Common Sense. Why in the world do we need SCOTUS to verify this? Once upon a time, not too long ago, it was just assumed to be "common sense."
The ruling doesn't shock me - the fact that it had to be MADE shocks me.
Because common sense needs to be written down. If it isn't, there are many who would happily ride through that loop-hole and hang that old-wives tale. They know what they want, which is profit.
It seems like bureaucratic over-kill, but it is actually creating a foundation.
Jews find unspecified loopholes that require explicit patches to block, unfortunately.
Well Trump also had to verify through an executive order last year that English is the official language of the United States.
We have to go through every little thing no matter how tedious or “duh” it may seem. Any wiggle room and the eternal enemy will bring us right back to where we started - arguing over definitions and other seemingly non-issues while also struggling to not go extinct.
