I listened to this supposed SAP dude talk about the ones he used that worked by projecting a hologram at the cellular level resolution of whatever your missing body part is and the human body simply regrows the limb as if it was there but it's actually just a hologram of your arm or whatever. Like tricking the human body to do what lizards do with their tails.
