They ruse is that they are "rooting for the underdogs". In reality the people who believe that are just pawns being used by the organized criminal psychopaths who have empathy for no one. Once the pawns help complete the "revolution" the new criminal government takes out the pawns who help them achieve their goals of invading the country.
