Huh? What exactly are you contending didn't happen? Treaty of Shimonoseki is well documented. Japan's surrender is well documented. Taiwan going back to ROC is in the surrender documents. Communists won in 1949, otherwise we wouldnt be dealing with this China right now. Fleeing of ROC to Taiwan is real because they are situated there.
