I have understanding of a lot of things I don't believe in. It's ignorant to suggest belief is required for understanding. Throughout the world it is acknowledged there are three (3) Abrahamic religions. I have always been able to do this but AI makes it so easy. Definitely sounds like the same god that saved baby Ishmael.

An angel of God heard the boy's cries, comforted Hagar, and revealed a well of water to save their lives."
Yeah, it’s in the Bible because it’s Abraham’s God saving Ishmael. It’s not Hagar’s god, Egypt was polytheistic. Abraham’s God said no other gods. Allah is not the same as Abraham’s God. Islam is not an Abrahamic religion.
He clearly had a very direct and personal relationship with god in the story. What are you talking about? God promised to bless him and did. Frankly if god is real I think maybe you ought to consider humbly backing out of this! Don't want to piss off the big guy or all of us might be toast (again.)
God made that promise to Hagar, but she didn’t follow Abraham’s religion; Ishmael becomes a wild man and fought with everyone around him. Ishmael becomes a great nation as well, because he is of Abraham’s blood.
The relationship between the Jews and Muslims doesn’t begin at this point. It starts with Esau and Jacob - it’s referred to as the everlasting hatred and has to do with how the Edomites treat the Jews. Of course you’re not going to know about any of this because of your lack of biblical knowledge.

You have no idea how much I read. You said nothing I have not heard before. It's very ignorant as well as arrogant. I don't have "assumptions about how god works." That implies god actually exists. I only talk about the entire constructed edifice to counter all the nonsense people talk in the name of it.
