Absolutely.
City of London has threatened the world, via crafted conflicts, to choke the oil flow. This was how the USD hegemony via OPEC and Petrodollars was crafted.
This was also how they were able to fund their next HQ - China - with cheap sanctioned oil.
Trump turned the whole part of that board upside down. No one noticed that for the past 10 years he had been reducing the depencance of US on conflict oil, and many failed to understand just how important "dill baby drill" was.
But now, instead of the City, Trump was the one with the boots on the Hormuz chokehold and it was City's pet puppet China that suffered.
Without dominating the Iran chess board, Trump would not have been able to cut strings from China.
Without cutting China strings, we wouldnt be seeing the coming FAFO on Russia Hoax, Election 2020, Plandemic etc.

You are entirely correct, but don't forget that the EU is being affected much more than China. The EU could run out of Jet fuel in a month.
