The American public school system is broken and has been for a long time. The entire model is flawed and was based upon training good little factory workers in the age of industrialization, socialist indoctrination, and teacher's unions. We need to return to the public school system that existed back in the day where children were actually educated to become a literate and informed citizenry. The closest thing to that model currently is home schooling. Parents are the one's that must drive this change locally because the current system itself is built primarily for its own self preservation and not for the welfare of the children or society as a whole.
She’s not a real blonde. Mrs. A is and Mrs. A’s eyebrows are almost invisible.
This bimbo’s hair is as false as the rest of her.
“No tats, no fats, no bleach blondes.”
Does anyone remember “no lids, no kids, no space cadets”?
Oh, you mean the ham planet.
It doesn’t change the falsehood of the op. When I say her, I commented and moved on.
I wouldn’t have either of them around.
To be fair. I think the other side to teachers needs to be told. Ran into this video this morning. The reason we have teachers that are scrapping the bottom of the barrel in classrooms is because good teachers are leaving in droves. The system has not only failed our kids, but it is failing our good teachers as well. The following is the heartfelt cry of just one teacher in the video.
They are leaving because the system no longer lets them teach kids. You're no longer allowed to teach self management. You're no longer allowed to teach respect or accountability anymore. We are told to keep the peace, and keep the bodies in the room. Some are even told to pass at 20% - just get the kid the diploma. Pass them along so the data looks good. When we do that we're not protecting the students, we're doing them a disservice cause they are walking into a world that will hold them accountable. (Now days I would have to question that assumption.) We could have taught them how to handle that with grace, empathy, and reflection, but we are told to look the other way. Teachers quitting mid year, every single year, is not an exodus, it's self preservation. Deep down it's heartbreak because they want to stay. The system is just making it so that staying is at the expense of yourself and your own family.
All the looney TikTok videos aside, of all the so called teachers that have no business in a classroom of children, the overwhelming voices of teachers who are worthy of the noble profession of teaching our most precious resource are not being heard. I hope that this video will shed some light on the struggle that real teachers are being faced with just to stay in the classroom. The system is truly broken and in some respects, so are our children.
These teachers are the canaries in the coal mine sounding the alarm over what is headed our way with regards to the children they are seeing. Many of them see the plandemic as a watershed moment in when they started seeing some very dramatic changes in their own classrooms. They need to be heard.
Get rid of TikTok and YouTube shorts. This stuff is rotting these kid's brains. F*ck the economic and political ad concerns - these short video platforms need to go. Get rid of mandatory childhood vaxxines. Rein in neurotoxic additives in food. Not sure what to do about disengaged parenting, but this is a full scale red alert.
Did you see AR has turned off the cell phone in school for a year. Everything is doing much better. Teachers and students and even librarians appreciate it. It was a one year experiment but already it works.
You are right about the children's mental health and physical health suffering, but also the teachers (good ones) suffering. My mom was a teacher's assistance and I was one also for the TAG program. We know.
So true. The brain rot and anti-social behavior due to cell phones is underappreciated. Been on the front lines of the education crisis myself as well.
I thought it was a good video as well. These teachers are really struggling in a system that no longer supports them, but they suffer all the consequences for that failing system. Listening to these teachers it is quite obvious that there is something seriously wrong with these kids. What is wrong with them appears to be multifactorial and converging all at once. This can cannot be kicked down the road any longer.
I experienced some of these complaints when I taught at the local community college. They couldn't read nor could they think. How the hell did they manage to pass admissions? A high school education is required, but if high schools are giving diplomas to young people at 20% or give them "adjusted diplomas," they are only passing the problem on to the community colleges. I taught head and neck anatomy for the science core class for health care workers in the dental field. I would say that at least a quarter to a third of them were not even ready for a class like that. I had to encourage a few of them to withdraw from the class and seek remedial work. It is ridiculous that High school graduates have to take remedial English and Math classes just to take college level course work. The standards just continue to be lowered.
Trump wants to revitalize American industry, but if we are not preparing the American workforce for those industries, it will be a failed endeavor. This is a reality that I hear from business owners looking to relocate and build a facility in an area. They evaluate the K-12 and college systems in an area for potential workforce pools. All the tax incentives and other benefits are useless if there is not a capable workforce to employ and it is expensive to ship in workers from outside.

Yes, it has been a rapid decline.
