I couldn't watch the vid without creating an account so I passed. In any case, here was the teaser;
In this episode, I sit down with China analyst Gordon Chang to understand his view of the recent Trump–Xi talks in Beijing. Who had the upper hand? Why did President Donald Trump take 17 CEOs of America’s largest corporations with him? And what was accomplished? While Xi Jinping tries to present America as a declining power an...
Answering the questions...
Who had the upper hand?
I grow tired of the zero sum premise in politics (i.e. I win, you lose or v-v). Sometimes US/China interests are aligned sometimes not, it isn't (always) about domination, upperhands and browbeating, etc. That is from the Old World Order.
Why did President Donald Trump take 17 CEOs of America’s largest corporations with him?
Trump took them to China as cover for his real purpose. All the news is saying they didn't agree to much nor do anything substantial or not already in the cards. Musk posted a vid of himself sightseeing. The only important CEO was from NVidia because China needs their chips which was a subtle reminder that Trump knows this. How do I know this? Because they made a big production that NVidia CEO was "accidently" left of the passenger manifest and had to connect in Alaska.
And what was accomplished?
Not much except Trump, Putin and Xi are negotiating the future of a tri-polar world order. In my thinking Trump has neuteried the Brits and now negotiating with Russian and China to divy up the world.
Trump first meets with "King" Charles and gives him the bad news, the Monarchy ruling the world is over. Then in the past 2 weeks Trump meets with Xi then Xi meets with Putin the next day. My best guess at the plan is that Russia runs Europe, China runs East Asia and the US gets the Americas. The side bonus to avoid WWIII; Trump is agreeing to trade Taiwan for Cuba.
