Why, precisely, did so many acts pull out in a seemingly coordinated fashion, citing “divisiveness” that didn’t exactly exist?

That America's Got Talent show has shitloads of acts that would be glad to get a call, for example. What is keeping the organizer(s) from ringing them up? I know Trump said he's gonna headline the show now, but he shouldn't have to shoulder the whole thing. Not that I'd complain.
