LOL. The State declared a curfew. They can do that, and it's not because they want to infringe the protestor's rights, it's because they want to protect the citizens from property damage. The peaceful protests have been known to cause extensive property rights in the past, so fair go.
On balance it's the most cost effective thing to do.
In Portland there was a large apartment building and other residential buildings nearby and the residents had been complaining and asking for help for MONTHS. I'm happy to see the state acting in this case.
