Maybe it's one of those ridiculous primaries where it doesn't matter what party is in, the top two vote recipients end up vying for the position in the main election. That's how the governor's race is run, so perhaps they do it in this mayor race too.

Well he has to place in the top 2 of 3, 2 dems 1 ind. He has to get to Nov, to win, by getting enough percentage today so it is a big fn deal.
