Sadly, in equine news it seems they are eating the horses. Horses have been stolen out of their pastures, and partially butchered carcasses have been found a few fields away.

You know, I'm sorry, but I have been getting several posts from new people regarding the stabbings and their feelings about them, and I didn't take note of the location. I do remember the man who wrote the post/article said that it was not an unknown occurrence, but a very underreported one.
Makes me sick to my stomach. Most likely illegal sickos. 😡
That was the conclusion regarding the slaughter.
It seems that there is stalking and violence in the competitive horse world, and that is from competitors or horse-adjacent people.
