i remember visiting the Lincoln Memorial with my Grandparents back in 1976 or 77. some blacks kids went by with a Ghetto Blaster blaring and i still remember the lyrics to the song. "Clamp your hands, stamp your feet. Listen to the Disco Beat".
I remember walking to the subway and the local we were with had us take a shortcut,thru some building and he casually mentioned, that this was were Reagan was shot....
That was also when I learned the north named battles after rivers and the south after nearby towns. I was visiting the battlefield of Manassas and never heard of it. Then we drove across bull run and I heard of that.....
