It’s a very good idea. The Magna Carta being, I believe the first citizens charter, outlining basic rights of the people and also restricting the power of the king (ruler).
We certainly need to have a modern version of this. Get rid of their admiralty “legal” system, legalese, barristers, lawyers and judges.
Return to common, understandable law, written in plain English, overseen by juries, appointed citizens.
Most of their law revolves around restrictions to justify wealth extraction (theft and extortion) through the creation of licenses and government approved monopolies.
Hundreds of thousands of public servants in the Western World are guilty of treason and the ongoing genocide of various cultures.
Some may be puppets, others simply indifferent or stupid, but most know exactly what damage they are causing. They must face the consequences of their actions.
