I'm sick of it too, as most Americans are, I believe. In the ongoing attempt to MAGA and improve our country, there always seems to be some "activist" group or another who, incapable of building or creating things, can only destroy and deface. I keep reading and hearing the term "race exhaustion" and understand where it's coming from.
I'm glad I live in a relatively peaceful area of East Tennessee, where we generally watch "summers of love" and riots from afar and on TV. Yes, we have No King idiots here, and a handful of agitators and community organizers, but they rarely even make the news. Plus, nearly every household I know of is armed and we have a high percentage of veterans in our demographic here.
If the race exhaustion (or any other kind of exhaustion that the Left is imposing on us) ever gains steam, they will have a hard time of it in these parts.
Seymour is a pleasant enough place, but Sevierville, while nice in itself, is subject to MASSIVE tourist traffic and at times you might find it difficult to get around. Of course there are back roads that can allow you to get around more easily there, and you should learn them quickly... the main roads, however, can get clogged with tourists bound for Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for vacation, retreats, conventions, camping, and other activities in the ever-busy Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
I’ll look to the outskirts of Sevierville a bit for living, and maybe consider commuting to the town for work, as I work in an industry where tourism is a big part of the business. Thanks for the information and heads-up.
Ah well, if you're in the tourism and hospitality trade, you may thrive in Sevierville. But still, just for your sanity, learn all the back roads you can, it may make life easier for you. Best of luck!

Everyone in our neck of the woods is armed too
Same here where we live, and our population is well over 50% black. Everyone is strapped, and there has been zero violence about this issue.
See you in a few months. Looking into Seymour or Sevierville right now to escape the communist state I live in now.
But yeah… if the stabbing had happened in a blue state and the perp was convicted, we’d be on the middle of Summer of Love 2.0 right now. But… Texas…
