i suspect the problem with these people is that they are so loud and obnoxious, that very few people want to risk a confrontation when the “return on investment” might be a knife in the back …

You can't argue with a sociopathic narcissist. They only care about their own image of themselves. You, the logical, reasonable being, are only an object in their fantasy. If you argue with them, they lash out, and that can be dangerous if it is in, for example, a workplace. YOU can lose your job if they are vocal enough. YOU TRANSPHOBE.
The best thing you can do is to get as far away from them as possible. Grey Rock-style. This can be achieved by just removing yourself from any conversation.
The other way is to enlist legal enforcements, such as trespass orders or non-molestation orders, for example. Basically, enforced grey rock. Trust me, it works.
Anyway, the endpoint in this saga is that they get bottom surgery. This prevents them from reproducing, which is what I think was the whole point of this disgusting exercise: Get the insane, unstable personalities - i.e. the ones who go as far as seeking help with their sexually perverted self-image, and convince them that castration is the solution to their problems. Of course it's a depopulation scam, and super-lucrative for hospitals.
The narrative has been weaponized with a beautiful, colorful propaganda campaign, complete with rainbow-paint kits and flags. Most ot the corporations and councils have fallen for it, in fear of being labelled 'transphobic'. And who can object to a rainbow, after all, your kids have them on the walls in school.
And fear is a powerful motivation, especially if it involves a loss of face in public. Such propaganda requires a cultural change. One needs a moral backbone. Go to church.

I am still yet to encounter this in real life. Only on you tube videos does this exist for me. Seems to be a problem exclusively taking place in public school, and in hyper-corporate and uppity job settings, where people from said schools seek employment. Sure, I see a young man wearing a bra and high heels every now and then but they are always of school age. Make bullying great again.
