My grandfather was a pro baseball scout (Stl Browns) in the 40s and 50s, still have memorabilia from that period. Anyway, we kids were raised on the bb StL Cardinals, (in the years after the Browns became the Cardinals), loved when they won the series in 82. So in the 90s on MLB's second player strike, I swore off pro bb forever and I don't watch games or follow in any way. If my family can quit bb then others can too.
It’s not that I’m against playing sports, casually with friends… or watching kids compete. Some parents get a bit too excited, and the and the ultra-sportzball fan base are mostly fat guys who can’t walk a mile.
They don’t know who’s in congress but can name every sportzfayg and stats for the past 25 years.
