The symbols are easier to spiritually discern than words philosophy of men. Symbols speak the Biblical language.

1 Corinthians shows that the philosophies of men is not what the Holy Spirit speaks. If you can learn to hear the Holy Spirit, the symbols begin to come to your understanding. The carnal mind will reject this. "We have the mind of Christ".

1 Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 16 We have the mind of Christ.

3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

Paul goes on to say be followers me as I follow Jesus Christ. My point is, the carnal church is not taught the spiritual language of Jesus, of Paul, of John, of the book of Revelation.

You want to speak the same things? Speak the mind of Christ, the living logos of the prophecy of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 19:9 These are the true sayings(logos) of God.

The symbols are actually less open to private interpretation than the philosophies of men.
Symbols are the Bible’s native language — the language the Spirit uses.

Paul wasn’t warning against spiritual interpretation; he was warning against carnal interpretation. He draws a hard line between two kinds of readers:

• The carnal mind → hears words only, debates, divides, argues
• The spiritual mind → hears the Holy Ghost, compares spiritual with spiritual

That’s exactly what he says:

“Which things we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”

The “same thing” Paul wants us to speak is the mind of Christ, not the mind of Paul, Apollos, or any denomination.
The carnal church teaches people to read the Bible like a textbook.
The Spirit teaches people to read it like Revelation teaches it — symbolically, spiritually, inwardly.

Paul literally says he could not speak to them as spiritual because they were still carnal.
That’s the whole point.

If you want unity, speak the Logos, not the philosophies of men.

Revelation 19:9 —
“These are the true sayings (logos) of God.”

The Logos is one.
The Spirit is one.
The symbols are one.
The division comes from the carnal mind, not the spiritual one.
