βAdditionally, no money has been given to Iran, or released from their money to them, by the U.S. We will be releasing some of their money, that is totally controlled by us, to our Farmers and Ranchers, for the purchase of Corn, Wheat, Soybeans, and more. Food is desperately needed in Iran, and we will be purchasing it for them exclusively from the United States." π₯
βNO TOLLS, NO INSURANCE COSTS, & NO OTHER CHARGES OF ANY KIND BEING SOUGHT OR RECEIVED BY IRAN ON SHIPS TRAVELING THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ. If this is false information, negotiations would end, immediately!"
Western media reports the regime's media propaganda as though it is truth. The confusion is because Trump and the administration are saying one thing, while the regime is reporting another. Of course the fake news goes with the regime propaganda.
Given that this agreement has had a few days to function we can actually see more of what is actually happening on the ground. There are a few assessments I can make now that some of the fog is starting to clear - at least for me.
The regime in Iran right now is the weakest it has ever been. They are fractured and infighting. Yes, they can still inflict damage, but their military capacity has been severely weakened. The first couple of tiers of their Islamic leadership has gone to meet their 72 virgin goats. It is actually quite comical watching them try to throw each other under the bus over who is going to be held responsible for capitulating to Trump while they also try to cobble together some level of control within the country. The fog is also starting to lift for them and the realization that things are not what they are being told is starting to hit them. Many of these "leaders," like the public, have been kept out of the loop. Their Parliament is still closed so they publicly are unable to formally ask questions and demand answers. But they are speaking out on social media. I don't speak Farsi, but I know people that do and they are monitoring the regime's social media in Iran as well as chat groups of their supporters. It's very entertaining. They translate the videos for me. The fracturing is getting quite intense.
Much of their propaganda fake news is to continue with their narrative of strength to their supporters who are more durka jihadi hardline than most of them. These people are turning on the leadership and the leaders are desperately trying to keep up the facade that is quickly starting to crumble. They are not unified and neither are their supporters. Every time Trump clarifies a certain fact, it is like a bomb dropped right in the middle of the regime's failing narratives. Leaders try to do damage control with their supporters and say all is well and that they are in control, all while trying to shift the blame in another direction in the event the cat gets out of bag and they can't stuff it back in.
The Western media, not understanding the dynamics at work currently within the regime, are only grabbing information from IR sources that they use to discredit Trump. But every time they report something that conflicts with what the administration says, Trump simply posts another truth bomb on Truth Social that explodes right in the heart of the regime. The regime was forced to turn the internet back on, so now people inside Iran can also see the conflicting statements. I can't wait to see how Trump's latest bomb exploded today. This should be good.
